PW's College Basketball "In or Out" Bubble Special

By Peyton Wesner

Who's in? Are you kidding me? Well, I guess they are deserving when you look at it that way? Ah, Selection Sunday. For some, it will be a moment remembered forever, while for others, at seven o'clock Eastern Standard Time when the bracket is finalized, a feeling of being snubbed will be present while an NIT game approaches. With that being said, I would like to present each bubble team's current situation when in the same sentence as the NCAA Tournament.

25-8 (14-4) #25 Boise State
-Mountain West Regular Season Co-Champions
Best Wins:
-Saint Mary's 82-71 (Road)
-Colorado State 82-78 (Home)
-San Diego State 61-46 (Home)
-#24 San Diego State 56-46 (Road)
"Never Shoulda Happened" Losses:
-Loyola (IL) 48-45 in Championship Game of Las Vegas Classic.
-Utah State 62-61 (Home)
-Fresno State 70-64 (Road)
Last Game:
-Loss To Wyoming 71-66 in Overtime in Semi-Final of Mountain West Tournament (in Las Vegas)
Key Contributors:
---#2 Derrick Marks (SR)
-19.3 PPG, 3.7 RPG, 3.0 APG, & 1.8 SPG.
---#3 Anthony Drmic (SR)
(Injuried ankle on November 18 and later underwent season-ending surgery. Will not play in post-season)
-15.0 PPG & 5.0 RPG.
---#23 James Webb III (SO)
-11.3 PPG, 7.9 RPG, & 1.2 SPG.
---#13 Nick Duncan (SO)
-9.7 PPG & 3.4 RPG.
---#1 Mikey Thompson (JR)
-7.9 PPG, 2.3 RPG, & 1.8 APG.
---#12 Igor Hadziomerovic (SR)
-5.1 PPG, 3.1 RPG, & 2.8 APG.
---#22 Robert Heyer (SR)
-4.7 PPG & 3.2 RPG.

Boise State's Situation:
-The Broncos own a share of the Mountain West Regular Season Championship, swept the team they are tied for first in the standings with and who will be in the NCAA Tournament (San Diego State), and besides one bad loss in Fresno, has taken care of business against teams with an RPI over 150. With that being said, how can they committee leave Boise State out of the field?!

25-9 (13-5) BYU
Best Wins:
-Hawaii 90-70 (Salt Lake City)
-Stanford 79-77 (Home)
-Saint Mary's 82-60 (Home)
-#3 Gonzaga 73-70 (Road)
"Never Shoulda Happened" Losses:
-Pepperdine 67-61 (Home)
-San Diego 77-74 (Road)
-Pepperdine 80-74 (Road)
Last Game:
-Loss To #7 Gonzaga 91-75 West Coast Conference Championship Game (in Las Vegas)
Key Contributors:
---#3 Tyler Haws (SR)
-21.9 PPG, 4.4 RPG, & 2.3 APG.
---#5 Kyle Collinsworth (JR)
-14.0 PPG, 8.7 RPG, 5.8 APG, & 1.8 SPG.
---#20 Anson Winder (SR)
(Has not played in last two games due to knee injury. Status unknown.)
-13.1 PPG, 3.6 RPG, 1.9 APG, & 1.4 SPG.
---#1 Chase Fischer (JR)
-12.9 PPG, 2.1 RPG, & 2.0 APG.
---#23 Skylar Halford (SR)
(Injured in WCC Championship and has a lower leg nerve contusion. Status unknown.)
-8.7 PPG, 1.8 RPG, & 2.3 APG.

BYU's Situation:
-The Cougars are kind of a wildcard going into today due to the unknown status of two of their key players, Anson Winder and Skylar Halford. As a non-biased basketball fan, I really do not want to see BYU in the NCAA Tournament if Halford and Winder are not able to play because without them, the team would get destroyed in the Round of 64, unless Tyler Haws and Kyle Collinsworth combine for sixty points. Nevertheless, it must be noted that the Cougars did defeat the third best team in the nation on their home court, which should play a huge factor in the decision. That is, if the two losses to Pepperdine and and one to San Diego don't overshawdow the win.

20-13 (10-8) Connecticut
Best Wins:
-Dayton 75-64 in Semi-Final of Puerto-Rico Tip-Off
-Cincinnati 62-59 (Home)
-Tulsa 70-45 (Home)
-#21 SMU 81-73 (Home)
"Never Shoulda Happened" Losses:
-Yale 45-44 (Home)
-Houston 70-68 (Road)
-Memphis 54-53 (Home)
Last Game:
-Win Against Tulsa 47-42 in Semi-Final of American Athletic Conference Tournament (Home)
Game Before Selection Sunday:
-#20 SMU in American Athletic Championship Game (Home)
Key Contributors:
---#11 Ryan Boatright (SR)
-17.6 PPG, 4.1 RPG, 4.0 APG, & 1.4 SPG.
---#5 Daniel Hamilton (FR)
-11.0 PPG, 7.4 RPG, 3.7 APG, & 1.0 SPG.
---#44 Rodney Purvis (SO)
-10.8 PPG & 2.3 RPG.
---#35 Amida Brimah (SO)
-9.8 PPG, 4.8 RPG, & 3.3 BPG.
---#21 Omar Calhoun (JR)
-5.6 PPG.

Connecitcut's Situation:
-The scenario is simple for the Huskies: Win against SMU to get into "Big Dance" or "Hello NIT." But the situation they are in is not a bad predicament considering how they have played in the last three days. In addition, the AAC Tournament is being played in their home arena, so it will be a "Neutral" home game for UConn with the chance to defend their title.

27-6 (13-5) Colorado State
Best Wins:
-Georgia State 80-70 (Home)
-UTEP 65-62 (Home)
-New Mexico State 58-57 in Overtime (Home)
-Boise State 71-65 (Home)
-San Diego State 79-73 (Home)
Conference Losses:
-New Mexico 66-53 (Road)
-Wyoming 60-54 (Home)
-Boise State 82-78 (Road)
-Wyoming 59-48 (Road)
-San Diego State 72-63 (Road)
Last Game:
-Loss To San Diego State 56-43 in Semi-Final of Mountain West Tournament (in Las Vegas)
Key Contributors:
---#31 J.J. Avila (SR)
(Missed MWC Semi-Final with right ankle injury. Expected to play in postseason.)
-16.6 PPG, 7.3 RPG, 2.8 APG, & 2.0 SPG.
---#11 Stanton Kidd (SR)
-11.5 PPG, 5.0 RPG, & 1.8 SPG
---#2 Daniel Bejarano (SR)
-11.3 PPG, 7.1 RPG, & 2.9 APG.
---#3 Gian Clavell (JR)
-9.2 PPG, 3.6 RPG, & 1.0 SPG.
---#4 John Gillon (SO)
-8.1 PPG & 3.3 APG.
---#10 Joe De Ciman (JR)
-8.1 PPG, 3.4 RPG, & 1.7 APG.
---#15 Tiel Daniels (JR)
-5.6 PPG & 4.9 RPG.

Colorado State's Situation:
-Going into the season Colorado State's strength of non-conference schedule looked pretty decent. Unforunately for them, teams like Colorado turned out to not be as good as advertised, which ultimately ruined what was suppose to be a good strength of schedule. Nevertheless, Colorado State should be in the field since they have an RPI of 29, only one loss coming to opponents outside the RPI 150, and J.J. Avila will be back in action when the postseason begins.

21-11 (11-7) Georgia
Best Wins:
-Colorado 64-57 (Home)
-Seton Hall 65-47 (Home)
-Kansas State 50-46 (Road)
-Ole Miss 69-64 (Home)
-Texas A&M 62-53 (Road)
-Ole Miss 76-72 (Road)
"Never Shoulda Happened" Losses:
-Georgia Tech 80-73 (Road)
-Minnesota 66-62 in Third Place Game of NIT Season Tip-Off.
-South Carolina 67-50 (Road)
-Auburn 69-68 (Home)
-South Carolina 64-58 (Home)
Last Game:
-Loss To #21 Arkansas 60-49 in Semi-Final of SEC Tournament (in Nashville)
Key Contributors:
---#2 Marcus Thornton (SR)
-12.3 PPG, 7.0 RPG, & 1.2 BPG.
---#12 Kenny Gaines (JR)
(Missed SEC Semi-Final with left ankle injury. Status to be determined later.)
-11.6 PPG, 3.5 RPG, 1.7 APG, & 1.2 SPG.
---#42 Nemanja Djurisic (SR)
-11.4 PPG & 5.1 RPG.
---#4 Charles Mann (JR)
-11.2 PPG, 5.1 RPG, & 3.7 APG.
---#30 J.J. Frazier (SO)
-10.0 PPG, 3.8 RPG, 3.3 APG, 1.2 SPG.
---#3 Juwan Parker (SO)
(Re-aggravated leg in SEC Semi-Final. Status unknown going forward.)
-5.2 PPG & 3.8 RPG.
---#1 Yante Mann (FR)
-5.2 PPG, 4.3 RPG, & 1.4 BPG.

Georgia's Situation:
-Like Colorado State, Georgia's RPI is in a good spot on Selection Sunday. Also,   a season sweep of another bubble team, Ole Miss, will make it nearly impossible to leave Georgia out of the field if Ole Miss is in. But, having no wins against the RPI 50 and some bad losses are non-overlookable and could be the thing that keeps the Dawgs from dancing.

20-13 (9-9) Indiana
Great Wins:
-#22 SMU 74-68 (Home)
-#23 Butler 82-73 (in Indianapolis)
-#22 Ohio State 69-66 (Home)
-#13 Maryland 89-70 (Home)
"Never Shoulda Happened" Losses:
-Eastern Washington 88-86 (Home)
-Purdue 67-63 (Home)
-Northwestern 72-65 (Road)
Last Game:
-Loss To #8 Maryland 75-69 in Semi-Final of Big Ten Tournament (in Chicago)
Key Contributors:
---#11 Yogi Ferrell (JR)
-16.1 PPG, 3.3 RPG, & 4.9 APG.
---#1 James Blackmon Jr. (FR)
-15.8 PPG & 5.3 RPG.
---#5 Troy Williams (SO)
-13.1 PPG, 7.3 RPG, 1.9 APG, & 1.0 SPG.
---#4 Robert Johnson (FR)
-9.0 PPG, 2.9 RPG, & 2.3 APG.
---#15 Nick Zeisloft (JR)
-6.8 PPG & 2.2 RPG.
---#12 Hanner Mosquera-Perea (JR)
(Injured knee in a collision during First Round Action of Big Ten Tournament. Will be re-evaluated at a later date.)
-6.6 PPG, 4.3 RPG, & 1.3 BPG.

Indiana's Situation:
-If the Indiana Hooisers do not make the NCAA Tournament then I will not know what to think! With a conference championship victory last night by Eastern Washington, only one team that defeated Indiana will not go dancing this year (Northwestern). In addition, IU has four great wins against ranked opponents. How many will the committee say they need if they leave them out? Five or six?

25-8 (15-3) Louisiana Tech
-Conference-USA Regular Season Champions
Best Wins:
-Southern 85-76 (Road)
-Northwestern State 99-88 (Road)
-UTEP 58-45 (Road)
-UAB 74-71 (Home)
-Western Kentucky 69-56 (Home)
-UTEP 77-60 (Home)
"Never Shoulda Happened" Losses:
-Louisiana-Lafayette 94-86 (Road)
-North Texas 73-66 (Road)
Last Game:
-Loss To UAB 72-62 in Overtime in Semi-Final of Conference-USA Tournament (Road)
Key Contributors:
---#3 Raheem Appleby (SR)
-15.2 PPG, 2.6 RPG, 1.9 APG, & 1.4 SPG.
---#0 Alex Hamilton (JR)
-15.1 PPG, 3.4 RPG, 2.6 APG, & 1.8 SPG.
---#2 Erik McCree (SO)
-11.8 PPG & 5.7 RPG.
---#1 Michale Kyser (SR)
-8.4 PPG, 6.7 RPG, & 2.9 BPG.
---#11 Xavian Stapleton (FR)
-6.6 PPG & 2.0 RPG.
---#4 Kenneth Smith (SR)
-6.1 PPG, 3.9 RPG, 7.3 APG, & 2.0 SPG.

Louisiana Tech's Situation:
-Obviously the odds of the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs getting into the field is slim to none, but I wish for once they would receive an at-large bid. In the last three seasons (including this year's Regular Season Conference-USA Championship team), the Bulldogs have won twenty-five plus games per year. Why will they be kept out then...their best win came against UAB.

22-10 (11-7) LSU
Good Wins:
-#16 West Virginia 74-73 in Big 12/SEC Challenge (Road)
-UAB 79-70 (Road)
-Georgia 87-84 in Double Overtime (Home)
-Ole Miss 75-71 (Road)
-Ole Miss 73-63 (Home)
-#18 Arkansas 81-78 (Road)
"Never Shoulda Happened" Losses:
-Old Dominion 70-61 in Quarterfinal  of Paradise Jam.
-Missouri 74-67 in Overtime (Road)
-Mississippi State 73-67 (Road)
-Auburn 81-77 (Home)
-Tennessee 78-63 (Home)
Last Game:
-Loss To Auburn 73-70 in Overtime in Quarterfinal of SEC Tournament (in Nashville)
Key Contributors:
---#1 Jarell Martin (SO)
-16.9 PPG, 9.2 RPG, 1.7 APG, & 1.2 SPG.
---#25 Jordan Mickey (SO)
-15.5 PPG, 9.8 RPG, & 3.6 BPG.
---#4 Keith Hornsby (JR)
-13.6 PPG, 4.2 RPG, 2.2 APG, & 1.2 SPG.
---#55 Tim Quarterman (SO)
-11.3 PPG, 5.1 RPG, 3.9 APG, & 1.4 SPG.
---#5 Josh Gray (JR)
--7.2 PPG, 2.2 RPG, 3.9 APG, & 1.0 SPG.
---#15 Jalyn Patterson (FR)
-6.7 PPG, 2.5 RPG, 2.2 APG, & 1.2 SPG.

Why LSU Should be in NCAA Tournament in Two Sentence:
-The Tigers of LSU have a very interesting situation on Selection Sunday due to the amount of poor losses and quality wins they have. If they would not have gotten beat by Auburn (twice), Missouri, and Mississippi State, then they would not be on the bubble at all. Isn't it funny how negatives always are seen more than the positives.

27-5 (16-0) Murray State
-Ohio Valley Conference Regular Season Champions
-#5 Best Mid-Major According to CollegeInsider.com
Best Wins:
-Middle Tennessee 68-49 (Road)
-Western Kentucky 93-81 (Home)
-Evansville 81-79 (Road)
-Illinois State 89-77 (Home)
-Belmont 92-77 (Home)
-Eastern Kentucky 85-78 in Overtime (Home)
-Morehead State 80-77 in Semi-Final of Ohio Valley Conference Tournament (in Nashville)
Losses to Non-Power Six Opponents:
-Portland 64-61 (in Nashville)
-Valparaiso 93-58 (in Nashville)
Last Game:
-Loss To Belmont 88-87 in Ohio Valley Conference Tournament Championship Game (in Nashville)
Key Contributors:
---#1 Cameron Payne (SO)
-20.3 PPG, 3.7 RPG, 5.8 APG, & 2.0 SPG.
---#4 Jarvis Williams (SR)
-15.5 PPG, 8.3 RPG, & 1.1 BPG.
---#22 T.J. Sapp (SR)
-12.1 PPG, 3.3 RPG, 2.8 APG, & 1.0 SPG.
---#31 Jeffery Moss (JR)
-11.1 PPG, 4.0 RPG, 2.2 APG, & 1.0 SPG.
---#23 Justin Seymour (SO)
-7.4 PPG & 2.2 RPG.
---#2 Jonathan Fairell (SR)
-5.4 PPG, 6.8 RPG, & 1.0 SPG.

Murray State's Situation:
-The NCAA Selection Committee would set a horrible precedent if the Murray State Racers make the field because it would show that social media plays a factor on who is in and who is out. Every since the Racers were defeated on Belmont's Taylor Barnette's game-winning three pointer, the hashtag #RacersDeserveABid has trended. There are to many good teams that will be left out this year and as much as I want to see another Mid-Major get an at-large bid, the Racers should not.

21-12 (10-8) Miami (FL)
Good Wins:
-#8 Florida 69-67 (Road)
-#24 Illinois 70-61 in ACC/Big Ten Challenge (Home)
-#4 Duke 90-74 (Road)
-NC State 65-60 (Home)
-Syracuse 66-62 (Road)
"Never Shoulda Happened" Losses:
-Green Bay 68-55 (Home)
-Eastern Kentucky 72-44 (Home)
-Georgia Tech 70-50 (Home)
-Florida State 55-54 (Road)
-Wake Forest 72-70 (Road)
Last Game:
-Loss To #11 Notre Dame 70-63 in Quarterfinal of ACC Tournament (in Greensboro)
Key Contributors:
---#10 Sheldon McClellan (JR)
-14.7 PPG, 4.6 RPG, 2.0 APG, & 1.0 SPG.
---#13 Angel Rodriguez (JR)
-12.2 PPG, 2.4 RPG, 4.0 APG, & 1.9 SPG.
---#23 Tonye Jekiri (JR)
-8.6 PPG, 10.2 RPG, & 1.5 BPG.
---#20 Manu Lecomte (SO)
-7.9 PPG & 1.8 APG.
---#5 Davon Reed (SO)
-7.7 PPG & 3.4 RPG.
---#1 Deandre Burnett (FR)
-6.8 PPG & 2.0 RPG.
---#33 Ivan Cruz Uceda (JR)
-5.2 PPG & 3.1 RPG.
---#22 Omar Sherman (FR)
-4.9 PPG & 2.3 RPG.

Miami's Situation:
-So what will the committee remember most? Miami's win at Duke or their bad losses at home to Georgia Tech, Eastern Kentucky, and Green Bay. I feel like a win in the quarterfinals versus Notre Dame would have clinched a spot, but without, wins versus NC State and Duke could possible not get the job done.

24-7 (13-5) Old Dominion
Solid Wins:
-Richmond 63-57 (Home)
-LSU 70-61 in Quarterfinal of Paradise Jam.
-#14 VCU 73-67 (Home)
-Georgia State 58-54 in Overtime (Home)
-Louisiana Tech 72-53 (Home)
-Western Kentucky 75-52 (Home)
Poor Losses:
-Illinois State 64-56 in Semi-Final of Paradise Jam.
-Middle Tennessee 68-58 in Overtime (Road)
-UTSA 72-67 (Road)
Last Game
-Loss To Middle Tennessee 59-52 in Quarterfinal of Conference-USA Tournament (in Birmingham)
Key Contributors:
---#20 Trey Freeman (JR)
-17.5 PPG, 4.2 RPG, 3.4 APG, & 1.4 SPG.
---#1 Aaron Bacote (JR)
-10.5 PPG, 3.3 RPG, & 2.8 APG.
---#35 Jonathan Arledge (SR)
-8.3 PPG & 4.7 RPG.
---#23 Richard Ross (SR)
-8.3 PPG, 5.6 RPG, & 1.6 BPG.
---#22 Ambrose Mosley (SO)
-6.6 PPG & 2.0 RPG.

Old Dominion's Situation:
-The Monarchs' RPI coming into today is not bad at all as it is at 45, but I think Joe Lunardi has hinted that Conference-USA will only get one bid. With wins against LSU and VCU, if Old Dominion would have won the regular season championship, then I believe they would "dancing." The problem with Old Dominion is the five losses that cane within the conference.

20-12 (11-7) Ole Miss
Good Wins:
-#23 Creighton 75-68 in Semi-Final of Emerald Coast Classic.
-Cincinnati 66-54 in Championship of Emerald Coast Classic.
-Oregon 79-73 (Road)
-Coastal Carolina 71-68 (Home)
-#19 Arkansas 96-82 (Road)
-Texas A&M 69-59 (Home)
"Never Shoulda Happened" Losses:
-Charleston Southern 66-65 in Overtime (Home)
-TCU 66-54 (Home)
-Western Kentucky 81-74 (Home)
-Vanderbilt 86-77 (Home)
Last Game:
-Loss To South Carolina 60-58 in First Round of SEC Tournament (in Nashville)
Key Contributors:
---#42 Stefan Moody (JR)
-16.3 PPG, 3.5 RPG, 2.2 APG, & 1.8 SPG.
---#32 Jarvis Summers (SR)
-12.4 PPG, 1.8 RPG, & 4.6 APG.
---#10 Ladarius White (SR)
-11.2 PPG & 3.2 RPG.
---#11 Sebastian Saiz (SO)
-7.6 PPG & 5.4 RPG.
---#4 M.J. Rhett (SR)
-6.9 PPG & 4.8 RPG.
---#23 Dwight Coleby (SO)
-5.6 PPG & 4.8 RPG.

Ole Miss's Situation:
-What an "up and down" season for the Rebels. Despite the poor losses, I feel Ole Miss to be in the best position out of all SEC Bubble teams due to three good wins against Cincinnati, Oregon, and Arkansas. If I was a five or six seed, I would pray to not get matched-up against the team with "Moody Magic."

23-10 (13-5) Temple
Good Wins:
-Louisiana Tech 82-75 (Home)
-#10 Kansas 77-52 (Home)
-Connecticut in Overtime 57-53 (Road)
-Cincinnati 75-59 (Home)
-Connecticut 75-63 (Home)
"Never Shoulda Happened" Losses:
-UNLV 57-50 in Third Place Game of Coaches vs. Cancer Classic.
-Saint Joseph's 58-56 (Road)
Last Game:
-Loss To #20 SMU in Semi-Final of American Athletic Association Tournament (in Hartford)
Key Contributors:
---#2 Will Cummings (SR)
-14.2 PPG, 4.1 RPG, 4.3 APG, & 2.0 SPG.
---#25 Quenton DeCosey (JR)
-12.4 PPG, 4.4 RPG, & 2.1 APG.
---#3 Jesse Morgan (SR)
-11.8 PPG, 3.2 RPG, & 1.1 SPG.
---#15 Jaylen Bond (JR)
-7.9 PPG, 8.0 RPG, & 1.4 BPG.
---#1 Josh Brown (SO)
-6.2 PPG & 3.2 RPG.
---#0 Obi Enechionyia (FR)
-5.0 PPG, 3.5 RPG, & 1.2 BPG.

Temple's Situation:
-An RPI of 34 and wins against Kansas and Cincinnati will fly the Owls into the NCAA Tournament. The two bad losses against UNLV and Saint Joseph's will most likely put Temple in the First Four, but I see no trouble for them getting into  the "Big Dance."

20-13 (8-10) Texas
Good Wins:
-North Dakota State 85-50 (Home)
-Iowa 71-57 in Semi-Final of 2K Classic.
-#24 Connecticut 55-54 (Road)
-#16 West Virginia 77-50 (Home)
-#14 Baylor 61-59 in Overtime (Home)
Single-Digit Losses:
-Stanford 74-71 in Overtime (Home)
-#15 Iowa State 89-86 (Road)
-Oklahoma State 65-63 in Overtime (Home)
-#17 Oklahoma 71-69 (Road)
-#14 Iowa State 85-77 (Home)
-#20 West Virginia 71-64 (Road)
-#8 Kansas 69-64 (Road)
Last Game:
-Loss To #13 Iowa State 69-67 in First-Round of Big 12 Tournament (in Kansas City)
Key Contributors:
---#1 Isaiah Taylor (SO)
-13.0 PPG, 3.3 RPG, & 4.6 APG.
---#52 Myles Turner (FR)
-10.4 PPG, 6.4 RPG, & 2.7 BPG.
---#10 Jonathan Holmes (SR)
-10.2 PPG, 6.2 RPG, & 1.0 BPG.
---#3 Javan Felix (JR)
-8.7 PPG, 2.2 RPG, & 2.0 APG.
---#55 Cameron Ridley (JR)
-8.2 PPG, 5.2 RPG, & 1.7 BPG.
---#2 Demarcus Holland (JR)
-7.3 PPG, 3.3 RPG, & 2.5 APG.
---#0 Kendal Yancy (SO)
-6.4 PPG, 2.9 RPG, & 1.8 APG.
---#21 Connor Lammert (JR)
-5.2 PPG & 5.2 RPG.

Texas's Situation:
-The most interesting team in the world as well as the most disappointing team in the nation besides Florida is the Texas Longhorns. Although Texas has a under .500 conference record, the Longhorns "worst" loss came to Stanford (RPI 60) while having the fifteenth hardest strength of schedule. Lastly, the team played in the best conference in basketball, which is proved by the fact that nine of the ten teams were ranked in AP Top 25 at one moment in the season.

20-11 (11-7) Texas A&M
Best Wins:
-Sam Houston State 66-63 (Home)
-Mercer 65-60 (Home)
-LSU 67-64 (Road)
-Tennessee 67-61 (Road)
-LSU 68-62 (Home)
Single-Digit Conference Losses:
-#1 Kentucky 70-64 in Double Overtime (Home)
-Georgia 62-53 (Home)
-#18 Arkansas 81-75 (Road)
-Florida 66-62 (Road)
-Alabama 61-60 (Home)
Last Game
-Loss To Auburn 66-59 in Second Round of SEC Tournament (in Nashville)
Key Contributors:
---#23 Danuel House (JR)
(Did Not Play in SEC Tournament with foot injury. Status for postseason will be determined at a later date.)
-14.8 PPG, 3.8 RPG, & 2.1 APG.
---#12 Jalen Jones (JR)
-13.3 PPG, 6.6 RPG, & 1.0 SPG.
--#21 Alex Caruso (JR)
-9.5 PPG, 4.7 RPG, 5.6 APG, & 2.1 SPG.
---#14 Kourtney Roberson (SR)
-8.9 PPG & 6.4 RPG.
---#5 Jordan Green (SR)
-5.5 PPG, 1.7 RPG, & 1.7 APG.

Texas A&M's Situation:
-The Tigers bit the Aggies, and that will prove to be the final bullet that puts them away. Texas A&M was on the wrong side of Lunardi's bracketology going into SEC Tournament, probably because with of none of their wins coming against opponents in the RPI 50. That stat will ultimately send them to the NIT.

22-10 (14-4) Tulsa
Good Wins:
-Auburn 53-35 in Semi-Final of MGM Grand Main Event.
-Temple 63-56 (Road)
-Connecticut 66-58 (Home)
-Memphis 73-59 (Home)
-Temple 55-39 (Home)

Tulsa's Situation:
-Losses to a Division II team and Oral Roberts are games that will not help the argument of the Golden Hurricane. Ever since the showdown with SMU that ended Tulsa's undefeated record in the conference, the team has looked vunerable. With yesterday's loss to UConn, the Huskies won the season series 2-1 and since Connecticut will not make the NCAA Tournament, neither will Tulsa.

UCLA's Situation:
-The Bruins, in my opinion, need one more win against Arizona, Oregon, or Utah to get into the NCAA Tournament. Unfortunately, there are no more games left scheduled for UCLA.
