Prediction:
The next victim to "feel the Payne" from the Murray State Racers is the SIU Edwardsville Cougars. SIU Edwardsville is having a decent season in the Ohio Valley Conference as they are in currently in position to make the conference tournament again this season. The Cougars are coming off a close win against Chris Horton's Austin Peay Governors Thursday night as Senior Kris Davis led his team to a four point victory on a game-high eighteen point, four rebound performance. Tonight, there is no chance he will be the game-high scorer on the court as a "Sophomore Stud" brings his team into the Vadalabene Center on a fourteen game winning streak. Murray State has lived up to the hype this season as they have beaten the second and third best team in the conference by a total of thirty points. Speaking about thirty points, the Racers best player, Cameron Payne, had thirty-three points in a battle of the undefeated conference teams last Thursday in Charleston, Illinois, against Eastern Illinois. Payne and Senior Jarvis Williams silenced the sold out crowd in a fifteen point victory. I would expect the same tonight. The Racers are not just a good OVC team but a great mid-major,and I cannot wait for the NCAA Tournament when they upset a team that is overlooking them.
